In August 2013, Education New Zealand (ENZ) conducted its second annual survey of New Zealand’s international education industry. The survey covered schools, private training establishments (PTEs), English language providers (ELPs), institutes of technology and polytechnics (ITPs), wānanga, universities and education related businesses. The purpose of the survey is to provide ENZ with a comprehensive industry view of the opportunities and challenges facing New Zealand’s $2.6 billion international education industry, and to inform ENZ on how to best support the future growth and development of the industry alongside Government and international market priorities.
