The Court User Survey provides valuable feedback on court services and facilities from the people who use them. The survey offers a measure of what matters to people who use New Zealand courts, and where improvements can be made. Interviewers asked people about their experiences at selected High, District, and combined High and District Courts in New Zealand. All members of the public aged 16 years or older who visited one of the selected courts during fieldwork dates were eligible for the survey. This included members of the public attending court in relation to cases (and the people supporting them), or those seeking information from the court. The Court User Survey is the most comprehensive survey of court users undertaken to date.
