In 2012 CBG conducted a Study into Older People's Oral Health Issues on behalf of the Ministry of Health. The project was designed to supplement the findings of the 2009 New Zealand Oral Health Survey (also delivered by CBG). The study aimed to identify the oral health status and treatment needs of older people living in residential care facilities and older people living in the community but accessing home-based personal care assistance. Data collection for the project was completed via the Older People's Oral Health Survey from June-December 2012.
